SCAD is opening a school of design in Hong Kong. They have a building chosen and are ready to move in and start renovations once the government clears them. We were shown renderings of the building and spoken to by Jackie Chan (taped video). Quite a mighty behemoth SCAD has become, getting celebs to vouche for its educational and cultural prowess.
We were served wine, full bar, and some tasty mini hors d'oeuvres. A quaint little get together.
I didn't manage to get a picture of Paula

Toast to SCAD in HK.

View from our room, spectacular!

Haha, so the night really began once we left the get together. We (scadites, jesse, austin, ish) were taken out by David Waterman, design director at Vtech. He took us to the place I'd never thought I would return, Chung King Mansion. Little did I know that Chung King housed some really authentic food.
We ended up at the Taj Mahal, for some authentic Indian food and local beers. Stellar tastes, ones I've never had before.
The picture is of the "sales" men on the bottom floor of Chung King. They see a white male/female they pounce! Selling food, clothes, watches, weed, etc. Haha. love this one.
