Just an update on whom I working with (designers), one male New Zealander, one male Australian, one female HKer, and our manager is French, male. Also, I am not the only American as the general manager is American born.
I started Wednesday, thus had a nice three day week. There was no learning curve, as I was on par with the work flow immediately. A great feeling to know that my design experience, up till now, has been more than sufficient. We are working on a few electronic housewares. Cool innovative products that will add diversity to my portfolio. I love going to lunch and talking about the differences in cultures with everyone. Until now, I've only begun to appreciate great differences in people, thus welcoming them into my daily perspective. That, at the end of the day will make me wiser, more open and understanding.
